Manchester United beat Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup fourth round and added their name into the hat for Monday's draw.
Jose Mourinho was desperate to progress in another domestic cup competition after earning a trip to Wembley for the League Cup Final.
United were far from their best in the semi-final against Hull but got the job done over two legs and Mourinho used the opportunity to make some changes to his line-up against Championship strugglers Wigan.
United progressed thanks to goals from Marouane Fellaini, Chris Smalling, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Anthony Martial.
Mourinho also gave debuts to academy graduates Rochdale teenager Axel Tuanzebe and goalkeeper Joel Pereira who recently returned from a loan spell in Portugal.
Luke Shaw made his comeback, while Sergio Romero started in goal as David De Gea enjoyed a rest. All-time club goalscorer, captain Wayne Rooney was also named in the starting line-up for the Reds.
